Hi, I have received 4 PCNs for one parking event of 7 days at Southampton harbour hotel.

This was caused due to booking a space on "YourParkingSpace" which was to a lot that happened to be full, and the cruise was starting soon so this choice was made, assuming that 1 PCN would be issued.. Not a great choice but it is what it is.

However, despite driver being on a cruise for 7 days, unable to move the car in the interim period, and none of the PCNs being issued on the windshield anyway (they were posted to my address a week later), I have been issued with 4 (and maybe more are still on the way) PCNs for this infraction.

Specific to the dates
Cruise was for 20th - 27th June, car was parked there for this period, PCNs received for 22,23,24,25th of June.

Meta AI assuring me confidently that this is against IPC code of practice, but I struggle to find any solid quotable evidence to support that.

I feel like 4+ PCNs for a single parking event does feel unfair.. do I have grounds to appeal?

I have attached the notice board at the location, if that helps.

Post up one of the PCNs?

Thanks for getting back. Find one attached!

They were issued on 24, 25, 29x2 for dates 22,23,24,25. Dunno if the 2 notices issued on one day (29th) is relevant.

I see that now.. That is odd.. I added the image but it doesnt seem to go through let me try again..

Yeah the [img] tags doesnt seem to work here..

I have just got the 5th one.. for the Friday 26th. I am now wondering if i should even risk appealing, as that would be evidence enough to ticket me for the weekend days probably..

I would wait a few more days to see how many come through.

Thanks to royal mail.. I only have 4 more days for the early payment deadline.. so I need to make a decision by then. I think based on the PCNS, they have only fined me for the weekdays.

Does anyone have any advice for me? I have seen the term continuous contravention around similar cases, but not clear enough if it would apply here. I am nearly certain right now that they have only charged me for the weekdays, and not the 3 weekend days that car was also there..

Where are the other photos which are available on 'payapcn.co.uk'?

Do these refer to the signs which form the alleged contract?

We need to look in to 'They were issued on 24, 25, 29x2 for dates 22,23,24,25. Dunno if the 2 notices issued on one day (29th) is relevant.'

But we've no idea of the 'periods' to which these refer.

PCN No      Date and period of 'contravention'
