Dear Free Traffic Legal Advice,

I recieved multiple PCNs from Total Car Parks and have appealled them. They agreed "To offer you that you pay a reduced rate (£30.00) per Parking Charge received, which will cover for your parking on that day plus a small administration fee."

However, I have since forgotten to pay the PCN and have recieved a debt collection letter from Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd. What should my next course of action be. DCBL are charging me £160 per PCN. Is there any way to appeal this?

I have been on the noobie forum on MoneySavingExpert which advises me to issue a complaint to the Total Car Parking but I am not too sure what the contents should be as their template doesn't really match up with my circumstances.

Search the forum for DCBL, there are loads of examples, and read https://www.ftla.uk/private-parking-tickets/read-this-first-private-parking-charges-forum-guide/ and post as requested.
