I have received a Baliffs letter from DCBL regarding this situation and I am very worried about becoming homeless and having my mortgage application for a new house purchase rejected. I am the Registered Keeper.

Driver visited this car park to visit a well known car care retailer for some work which they have a dedicated space within the car park in December 2024. RK then moved to a new address in January 2025. I, as RK, never received any PCN, NtK, LoC nor any letter from the courts. I noticed my credit score go down significantly in June 2025 and then saw that a CCJ was placed in my name.

I complained to the retailer who has tried to contact the car park operator and not been successful in getting the PCN(and CCJ) cancelled. ParkingEye then refused to help and then released personal data against me to the reatiler(the CCJ) without my consent.

I also contacted CNBC and found out that ParkingEye had placed the CCJ without any contact with me.

I feel lost and look like I may lose my home and my opportunity to move on with my life. What can I do?

If you did not receive the claim then it can be set aside. You will need to make an application, which we can help you with.

Did you fail to update your address with the DVLA after you moved in January? Updating your drivers licence does not update your V5C address which is what they use to issue a claim.

If you have not already done so, you need to phone the CNBC ASAP, preferably first thing in the morning bout 8:30 to avoid lengthy wait and while you are on the phone, you must tell them to email you the Particulars of Claim and also the claimants name, their legal representative, the issue date of the claim and the claim number. You MUST get that information in order to be able to apply for a set aside under CPR 13.2, which is a mandatory set aimed due to the fact that you were never served the claim and could not acknowledge it.

I need a precise timeline of events from the date of the alleged contravention, the date you moved and the date you received the CCJ.

Once you have the PoC and issue date and claimant/legal rep details, then I can advise further on ow to apply.
