Good. Now we wait to see how intellectually malnourished they are. They will either reject the appeal and issue a POPLA code where you will have to submit a detailed appeal based on all the technical arguments we have been having and they are likely to lose. This will cost them about £35 for the POPLA fee.
Or... they will see the light and cancel the PCN.
Make sure you check the dates and if you haven't had a response to your appeal within a few days of their deadline to respond, chase it up by email so that you have a record. It is not unknown for these scammers to ignore an appeal and not send any response out in the hope that they can then get you at the debt collector stage by which time they will have added £60-£70 in fake fees.
