Azure Parking / ZZPS
« on: »
Hi all

I've received a parking notice for an overstay - now from ZZPS, their latest letter threatening enforcement and the matter being passed on to GCTT Enforcement Agreement Agents.

I've wrote several emails to both the car parking company, then Azure and now ZZPS but they haven't replied to any emails.  I'm gong to copy below my latest email which hopefully provides all the details .. but looking for advice on what I should do next.  Thank you.

___

I received a parking charge on 3rd November from Azure for an overstay on 28th November at Arundel Gate Car Park, Sheffield.  Asking for payment of £100 (reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days).

I had been in correspondence with the car parking company from 28th November as I was concerned that I could not extend the stay of my parking and was held up at a hospital assessment appointment.

I had no idea how long the appointment would take nor that I would not be able to extend the stay at the car park if needed as there was no information within the car park stating this and most car parks do allow you to extend via the app if needed.

Having been on live chat with RingGo, as I was still at my appointment, I was advised I could not extend my stay.  I was totally panicked knowing I would receive a fine for the overstay and immediately emailed the car park company.

They agreed to allow me to pay for my overstay and sent a link.

I didn't know how much was outstanding, so just paid what I thought it was.  It now seems that I underpaid by £1 and thus have now received a notice from ZZPS dated 5th January, requesting the sum of £170.

Your appeal process suggest reaching out the parking company, which I have again, upon receipt of the notice, but haven't heard back from them - asking if I can pay the additional £1.

In view of this, and until or unless the car park company does reply allowing just the additional £1 to be paid, my plight is to allow me to pay the initial cark park fee of £60.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards
Marie Edge

"I received a parking charge on 3rd November from Azure for an overstay on 28th November"

That doesn't make sense - presumably 3rd Dec?  You need to post up the PCN - but it would appear that you have identified the driver?

too late now, but it is ill advised to correspond as much as you did these all these people.
There plan is to get you to divulge to drivers ID.

However, as above we need to see the PPN.
