Hello,
The driver of the car has parked at Llandudno station car park and parked there for 3 days. . Upon checking the confirmation emails of the parking the driver has realised they have put the wrong registration in for each day of parking. They have put “UBH” instead of “ULB”. They are expecting to be receiving some charges next week or so and I am going to try to appeal it. If anyone can help with this situation or give guidance on it would be appreciated.
thanks for the reply. i have just been on a live chat with apcoa and they say the llandudno station doesnt have any anpr cameras on it and a warden is the one who gives out the tickets whihc i think is a bit strange but i will jus thave to wait and see if any charges come through.
Why on earth are you chatting with APCOA? Have you identified the Keeper as the driver? If so, you have dug a massive hole for the keeper to have to try and crawl out of.
It will all depend on whether they issue you a Parking Charge Notice (PCN) under civil contract law or a fake Penalty Notice (PN) under statutory criminal law. For heavens sake... stop "chatting" to APCOA!!!!!!
Wait to see what, if anything, they send the Keeper through the post. Was a PCN or a PN affixed to the vehicle?
Your only saving grace is that APCOA do not litigate. They certainly can't prosecute a fake Penalty Notice and they don't take PCNs beyond the debt recovery threat stage.
I never said who the driver of the vehicle was. i just put 'the vehicle'. and there wasn't anything attached to the windscreen when we went back to the car
Good! Please don't communicate any further with APCOA. If/when you receive either a PCN or a fake PN through the post, show it to us, only redacting your personal info, the PCN number and your VRM. Leave everything else visible, especial all dates and times. Also check their appeals site to see what other evidential photos they have, if any.
No one pays a penny to APCOA if they follow our advice.
