In this Schedule “relevant land” means any land (including land above or below ground level) other than—

(a)a highway maintainable at the public expense (within the meaning of section 329(1) of the Highways Act 1980);

(b)a parking place which is provided or controlled by a traffic authority;

(c)any land (not falling within paragraph (a) or (b)) on which the parking of a vehicle is subject to statutory control.

Airports have byelaws which mean “statutory control”.

it says each party must send to the courts d all other parties copies of all documents which they wish the court to consider when reaching a decision. the documents must arrive by 4pm 21 calendar days before the hearing. the court may refuse to consider any document which has not arrived on time. 🫤
court date 21 aug. send them by 1 aug, 8 days ago.

I thought I'd receive help with this. I've not done any of this before and can barely understand the wording used in the letters and now I'm going to court seemingly with no help. I've already missed an important date. is anyone going to help me ?
sorry but this is getting stressful as it approaches and the only thing I need to be calm is feeling I am prepared and I don't. maybe the above isn't relevant to me, if so I apologise but can someone please prepare me please.

It appears you have not sent a Witness Statement?

What have you received from the court / VCS - does it include their witness statement?  Is there an indication that they have paid the court fee?

We do not manage your case for you - you remain responsible for handling your case, meeting any deadlines, and ultimately making any decisions.

Please stop moaning about having no idea to do a Witness Statement and search both this forum and the Internet for information on this.

If you're not prepared to help yourself, people here won't spoon feed you. You're not paying us anything. If you want to pay for a competent solicitor, that's up to you, but please stop trying to imply that you are entitled to similar advice here, which is free. It's usually better than most solicitors, but that's a different argument.

You should at least research and think about what a Witness Statement is and how you would construct one, even if you don't commit pen to paper today. Otherwise if you find you have to submit one with no notice you'll panic and mess it up. Yes, your research may come to nothing, but I suggest it's worth a few minutes of your time now.

I don't know what a witness statement is ? what witness ? I'm not asking to be spoonfed but I've checked this thread for sometime but it's been quiet. of course I appreciate everyone's help and I don't expect to be spoonfed. but I posted sometime ago. I'll be ok for court if I'm prepared but nobody has posted since. then when I posted again a poster asked me what have I been sent. I received a very fat load of documents from claimant not understanding why. I was asked does it look like they've paid the court fee. iskimmed every document, seemed to be old happenings between us and one said paid £27. in further reading that document I saw a date for witness statements which I passed so I posted. where in that am I asking to be spoonfed ? I'm asking to be prepared for this court case apparently I have to go to even though I was told early on it is likely not to reach this point. and I've asked to be prepared. I'll do all the leg work you want. I've fought subsidence cases against the council and won, I've had out of the blue ccjs removed from my wife's record, I'm more than capable of legwork but there's that and not knowing where I am and asking for help. I'm going to say this althought this will probably end all help I get but I have a theory nobody expected it to reach this far so I'm being abandoned ? Add to that I'm being told I did things wrong which justifies your abandonment ? I repeat I have never been here. I don't know what a witness statement is. I have no idea what will happen regarding the court case I'm now facing after being guided by posters here. This is unbelievable. You don't even know me and yet your posting say I'm asking to be spoonfed ? how insulting is that.
