2 SIP Parking Charges on the same day

Hello ,

I have received 2 parking notices from SIP.

I was busy moving and did missed checking my post box .I received the notice on 1/7/26 but only opened the letter on 4/8/26.

1) First ticket for 27/6/26 entry at 1:35 and exit at 13:57
2) Second ticket for 27/6/26 entry at 15:08 and exit at 17:40

Both the tickets are for the same car park .

In good faith I coughed and paid the first ticket but raging that I would have to pay another for the same parking on the same day .

I have missed the appeals window and reduced rate window . Desperate for any advise

It would be good to understand what you mean by "the same parking", are you saying your vehicle did not leave the car park between the times of the two parking charge notices?

If you have missed the appeals window, you will start receiving letters from debt collectors. These letters are annoying, but can be ignored, as debt collectors are powerless. The next step after that, if SIP choose to, is to sue you in the County Court (Small Claims), if you receive a Letter of Claim from solicitors acting on SIP's behalf, or SIP themselves, come back here for advice.

Sorry I should've been clearer.

By the same parking I meant the same parking lot .

As per the letters it appears I have left parking lot and come back a second time . I assume I was under the impression I paid for 24 hours .

Can they treat this as two separate incidents even if the event was on the same day in the same parking lot ?

Is it less hassle to pay the fine as much as it would pain me to do so
