'I am not sure how to collect mt mum otherwise'.

Park on the road by the dropped kerb if this serves her house alone.

All of what you've said goes to mitigation and I am 99.99999% certain the council would not exercise discretion.

Enterprise are poor at dealing with NTOs which would heap confusion on the whole process. You could play the game, but not without some risk.

Ah if HC serve the NTO out of time maybe it will help.

Unfortunatley I cant parke on the dropped kerb, think I mentioned why in my orginal post. Did that before blocked traffic coming in two directions, and my mum takes too long to get in so wasn't realistic. It is a narrow road traffic passes two ways including buses. Would I have not got a ticket anyway for parking on the dropped kerb vs partial parking in the drive?

Thank you all for your help

Oh no. Thank you. Yes that is my pic just to show I couldnt have moved in further.
FWIW it seems you could have gone about a metre further.

Thanks John, it may look that way but my mum wouldn't have been able to get in the front. I need to be able yo assist her when i'm driving. I would have scraped by on the bush and got stuck because of the two other cars and the pole. My mum wouldn't have been able to get to the car atall. I can only exit via the gap. The space is misleading

Hatton Road is very long: please post a GSV link to the locatioon.

The pole is to the right so I can't park at an angle.

Could I be cheeky and say it was an emeegency to help my case ;D

Hi all me again. You may think I am an utter idiot for this  but hear me out. Really didn't mean to be a pavement hogger it is not nice.

I went to see my mum who has mobility issues and a blue badge issued by Hounslow Council (HC). There is not alot of space on the pavement agreed but enough for someone in a wheelchair or pushchair to safely pass. The pavement is wide and much bigger than it looks in rhe picture.

My brothers and sisters cars are there and cannot move anymore to give me space and they were not home anyway. What you cant see is a huge telephone post in front of our drive so this is the only way for me to park and reverse safely.

I needed to take my mum out and it takes her a while to safely get in and out of the car. I had my brother with me too and he has no independent road safety skills as he has autism. The road I reverse into is very busy so need time to get them both in safely and this is the only way. The main road is narrow and buses and cars pass on either side, and there are cars parked at the side of the road and they need to stop to pass. I once parked sideways on the pavement big mistake as it blocked traffic.

There is no pay and display and the other place to park across the road had no space as that is my only other option.

I saw someone as I came out but was too late as I didn't realise I was getting a ticket he had a hi vis jacket. He must have seen me and my mum coming out of the house but she walls slowly with a stick and physical support from me, she cannot go out alone independently.I took the picture about 5/6 minutes after my mum was in the car it was really hot so couldn't leave her and chase the guy

Do I have to take this on the chin or is it worth appealing?

;D  :D  very funny. Suprised they can get away with speaking to people like that. Don't have the energy to complain.

They added the same pictures and said at tge end they may not cancel future charges. There is hope yet! Will completley avoid that road but easy to forget as I don't use that stretch often

Good update.

I received the tribunal date for July was coming on here to check for advice then got a cancellation letter a few days later. Thanks everyone. The letter made me laugh. I did not use AI I edited some responses from here and added in my personal challenges. Very rude letter woule be cheaper for them to put in a roundabout and clear signs so you can rejoin the road ;D

Sorry what I meant was the electronic warning signs before the turning and the other silly propped up sign was not there when I drove there. I assume they put that up recently so will challenge that those additonal signs were not there on the day. The also cancelled a duplicate charge in feb 26 for the same contravention and strangely not for jan. The additional signs were not there on both ocassions.

I did not take additonal pictures at the time of the offence, so taking a picture of the signs today won't help me.

I alreadu posted pictures of the signs they alledge were there if that is what you mean. Unless I misunderstood what your asking?

Thanks for your help

Thanks for your reply. I forgot to say the adjudication link is broken. New pictures won't matter now as it seems like they added different signage after this happened in Jan 26. This was not there when I drove down.

Hope this is still active

Sorry re read the options to appeal just realised an example was given so I can appeal under both grounds

Thanks for your help

Ah I see. Thank you. yes it was hired for less than 6 months

28
Sorry me again is it classed as served out of time if they reissued in my name after 28 days but originally served to me via enterprise. Where they said they wouldn't accept that appeal but eventually did. Hence the lovely letter they sent. Are they confusing me on purpose

29
Sorry realised my original post made no sense

MY PCN

This does not state what it falls under but I assume it is for 'moving'. The contravention on my PCN states:failure to comply..no entry for vehicles)

TRIBUNAL CRITERIA

Parking Contravention

"did not occur .... no proper signage"

OR

Moving Contravention "

(There was) "no failure to comply with a traffic sign"

I guess this is me essentially saying I did comply with the traffic sign under the moving contravention when technically I didn't if I entered the road, I file under a moving contravention.

But looks like to have wider scope I need to file under parking contravention to state that there was no proper signage. Even though by my deduction it is a moving contravention.

Could I also state on the online and paper PCN there is no other mention of the type of contravention  (than what I mentioned above), so I selected the criteria (and wording) that fit the reasons I was trying to appeal. Or will they throw it out if I select parking?

Hope that is clearer sorry for all my muddled thoughts.

Well I can prive that signage was not there at the time so the onus is on them to prove the date as that was put there after I drove there.

Liability has been transfered to me after 6 months (out of time frame) but they still accepted and rejected my appeal when it wasn't. But as it doesn't state I assume I appeal under moving
