Hello and hope you all are well.

I have received a Letter Of Claim from BW Legal. Would this be the same as a Letter Before Claim (LBC) or is it just another demand for payment?

Can you please give advice on this?

Thank you.

Thank you for your response.

The V5C has stayed the same and has never changed. I don't normally ignore parking charges, and in this matter no NtK was sent and no opportunity to appeal to the IAS.

I have gathered GSV images from the actual location where the vehicle was photographed. It shows the signs position and the actual street name, this road doesn't junction with or lead onto the street they claim a parking contravention occurred. No proof of a car park, no proof the vehicle was parked, no proof of street name just an entry and exit from a different street.

I will sit it out and await for a Letter of Claim.

Thanks again.

Hello.

I have received a letter from BW Legal demanding payment. I replied informing them of their clients inaccuracies such as not receiving the Notice to Keeper, inaccurate location and not having the opportunity to appeal to the IAS. BW Legal replied with the correspondence I have attached below, they have sent the NtK almost 1 year later? The NtK was not sent from the outset.

What I would like to know if the NtK is PoFA non-compliant and it seems like it is the location that would make this Parking Charge unenforceable as they have not got it accurate, and probably not the issue date of the "Final Chance Before Action" letter dated 27th September 2025.

I would appreciate your assistance with this. Thank you. x

Thank you for your response.

How do I assert this in an appeal? I wouldn't know how to word an appeal.

Any templates would be a great help.

Hello and hope all is well.

A parking charge has been issued for an overstay at a petrol station forecourt, approx. 1 hour 8 minutes. The driver attended the site to use the vehicle washing facilities and spent £30 (prove of payment is retained), the type of vehicle in question is a van, which would take a bit longer to wash than if it were a small or medium car. Upon the parking charge being received the driver went back to the site to discuss with the staff members to cancel the parking charge and they say that they are unable to assist. They advised that if you know you will be staying longer than the specified time limit of 45 minutes you must come into the store and register your vehicle but none of the signs advise of this and where the washing facility is located on-site it is not signposted advising the time limit neither does it advise of registering your vehicle.

Can anybody advise on how to respond in an appeal or if this parking charge is unenforceable due to their wording, Freedom of Protections Act 2012 etc? Images have been uploaded and attached below.

I really appreciate your assistance with this. Thank you.

Hello all.

So, I have received the first letter demanding payment from Debt Recovery Plus dated 9th February 2026 regarding an overstay in cul-de-sac in east London.

Any advice going forward please? Thank you.

Hello and a Happy New Year.

So the response to the Prima Facie case was made on 02/12/2025 and I have received a reply from the IAS adjudicator on 11/01/2026 regarding this "vehicle unloading" matter.

The IAS adjudicator has dismissed the appeal.

What do you suggest I do now and what is likely to happen going forward?
TIA.

Below is a screenshot of the adjudicator's reply:

I have tried to call the church and no joy there, will try to call again on Monday morning. I have emailed the church too. I'll use your draft to appeal if the church cannot help.

Many Thanks. 🙏🏾

UKCPM are stalking.

The driver was simply delivering candles to the church ahead of the holidays then received a PCN in the post.

Image shows only the rear of vehicle at a time of 1532. Incident time on the PCN says 1600, observation time not comfirmed. Driver's proof of delivery document says 1535.

Shall I follow the same process as current with the IAS, if they reject an appeal or can this be appealed based on their times, images etc?

I will be appealing on the basis that the vehicle was again not parked and that it was unloading. The driver has the POD to support an appeal.

Can anybody help/advise on this? Much appreciated.  TIA.

Thank you for your advice and written response. Much appreciated.

The wording for a response to the operator via IAS is limited to 1000 words only, copy and paste does not work in their type box. I have also attempted to type and was not able to complete. What do you suggest I do, send response by email?
