So wait for enterprise to serve me notice then the council in turn.Them appeal again, get told no again then pay. With emergency parking how can you appeal the decision?

Thank you

And this is what I sent them

I went to see my mum who has mobility issues and a blue badge issued by Hounslow Council (HC) and my brother who is autistm and had to park like this as I was due to take her out for the weekend (I have evidence of bookings) but she she was feeling unwell. She has has multiple health issues, gp and hospital visits quite frequently. My mum lives at the adresss in question, so I parked like this in an emergency. There  was space on the pavement for someone in a wheelchair or pushchair to safely pass. The pavement is wide and much bigger than it looks in the picture.

My brothers and sisters cars are there and they cannot move anymore to give me space and they were not home anyway so they were unable to to move their cars. What you cant see is a huge telephone post in front of the drive so this is the only way for me to park and reverse safely.

I needed to take my mum to the hospital and it takes her a while to safely get in and out of the car. I had my brother with me too and he has no independent road safety skills as he has autism. The road I reverse into is very busy so need time to get them both in safely and this is the only way.

The main road is narrow and buses and cars pass on either side, and there are cars parked at the side of the road and they need to stop to pass. I once parked sideways on the pavement on the dropped kerb but it blocked traffic. In the picture taken there is a car parked across the road so I would have blocked traffic and this was my only option in an emergency There are cars parked down there Benedict Drive and along hatton road, you have to stop before that road or you can't manouvere out safely as usually and on that side of the road there are cars parked immediately after or you can't get out. Cars can get by  if I parked on the dropped kerb but not double deck buses which frequent this road.

There is no pay and display and the other place to park across the road had no space as that is my only other option.

I saw someone as I came out but was too late as I didn't realise I was getting a ticket he had a hi vis jacket. The time I took the picture was about 5 minutes or so after leaving the house. He must have seen me and my mum coming out of the house but she walls slowly with a stick and physical support from me, she cannot go out alone independently.I took the picture about 5 minutes after my mum was in the car it was really hot so couldn't leave her and chase the guy.

Can I ask for discretion to cancel this PCN as I tried to park safely in the drive in the designated parking place  and it was a medical emergency.

Kind regards

Hey all

Got an overwhelming no to my appeal. Do I now wait for them to write with a new fine via NTO notice and hopes it times out or just pay. I think when appealing I may have said I was tbe owner but it is clearly a rental. Would that make any difference?

Thanks yes she has a blue badge but family feud means I can't access it. I can't reverse in because of the postiton of the pole and the two stationary cars. I woule struggle reversing from a main busy road (personally) and would be harder for me to fit in. Thanks anyway

Ive tried that before and blocked traffic. There are cars parked down there B Drive and you have to stop before that road or you can't manouvere put safely as usually and on that side of the road there are cars parked immediately after or you can't get out.It doesn't work i've tried. Cars can get by not double deck buses  So confused wouldn't I be parked on the footpath of I parked on the side of the DK? And obstructing traffic?

So it looks like my only defence is her disability, my own arguments for parking, space and there beong an emergency. I looked through similar cases but nothing specific to me. Will look for some legislation and hope they drop me off

'I am not sure how to collect mt mum otherwise'.

Park on the road by the dropped kerb if this serves her house alone.

All of what you've said goes to mitigation and I am 99.99999% certain the council would not exercise discretion.

Enterprise are poor at dealing with NTOs which would heap confusion on the whole process. You could play the game, but not without some risk.

Ah if HC serve the NTO out of time maybe it will help.

Unfortunatley I cant parke on the dropped kerb, think I mentioned why in my orginal post. Did that before blocked traffic coming in two directions, and my mum takes too long to get in so wasn't realistic. It is a narrow road traffic passes two ways including buses. Would I have not got a ticket anyway for parking on the dropped kerb vs partial parking in the drive?

Thank you all for your help

Oh no. Thank you. Yes that is my pic just to show I couldnt have moved in further.
FWIW it seems you could have gone about a metre further.

Thanks John, it may look that way but my mum wouldn't have been able to get in the front. I need to be able yo assist her when i'm driving. I would have scraped by on the bush and got stuck because of the two other cars and the pole. My mum wouldn't have been able to get to the car atall. I can only exit via the gap. The space is misleading

Hatton Road is very long: please post a GSV link to the locatioon.

The pole is to the right so I can't park at an angle.

Could I be cheeky and say it was an emeegency to help my case ;D

Hi all me again. You may think I am an utter idiot for this  but hear me out. Really didn't mean to be a pavement hogger it is not nice.

I went to see my mum who has mobility issues and a blue badge issued by Hounslow Council (HC). There is not alot of space on the pavement agreed but enough for someone in a wheelchair or pushchair to safely pass. The pavement is wide and much bigger than it looks in rhe picture.

My brothers and sisters cars are there and cannot move anymore to give me space and they were not home anyway. What you cant see is a huge telephone post in front of our drive so this is the only way for me to park and reverse safely.

I needed to take my mum out and it takes her a while to safely get in and out of the car. I had my brother with me too and he has no independent road safety skills as he has autism. The road I reverse into is very busy so need time to get them both in safely and this is the only way. The main road is narrow and buses and cars pass on either side, and there are cars parked at the side of the road and they need to stop to pass. I once parked sideways on the pavement big mistake as it blocked traffic.

There is no pay and display and the other place to park across the road had no space as that is my only other option.

I saw someone as I came out but was too late as I didn't realise I was getting a ticket he had a hi vis jacket. He must have seen me and my mum coming out of the house but she walls slowly with a stick and physical support from me, she cannot go out alone independently.I took the picture about 5/6 minutes after my mum was in the car it was really hot so couldn't leave her and chase the guy

Do I have to take this on the chin or is it worth appealing?

;D  :D  very funny. Suprised they can get away with speaking to people like that. Don't have the energy to complain.

They added the same pictures and said at tge end they may not cancel future charges. There is hope yet! Will completley avoid that road but easy to forget as I don't use that stretch often

Good update.

I received the tribunal date for July was coming on here to check for advice then got a cancellation letter a few days later. Thanks everyone. The letter made me laugh. I did not use AI I edited some responses from here and added in my personal challenges. Very rude letter woule be cheaper for them to put in a roundabout and clear signs so you can rejoin the road ;D
