I can't see what harm it can do to contact the officer and ask what this is regarding?

As NewJudge points out the S172 offence might still be in play if you didn't respond to that request - which as I said you should do now even if it is past the 28 days.

It's late at night the evening before your hearing, but if you can, make sure you have adequate copies of the paperwork you are relying on - 6 ideally.

I did get to the bottom of it ... it was a claim my wife had on her policy in August '21, and because I had added her as a named driver (given she's about to be my ex-wife this was silly) they said I had to declare her claim (which I didn't know anything about) ... anyway, end result was to remove her as a named driver, and I ended up getting a smallish refund  ;D

Without the whole story, impossible to comment!

Took out a policy, a few days later I had a 'an at fault' accident - that's it as far as I can see.  Damage was to third party, no damage to my vehicle,

Dear All,

Does this sound right to you?  I thought a premium was a premium and wouldn't change as a result of a claim until renewal?

Quote
The premium we charge each customer is calculated from a series of detailed statistical models derived from past claims history for similar customers.

As a result of this change there is an increase of 84.53. This includes an administration charge of 26.00.

This means a balance of 84.53 is due, which we will debit from the payment details we hold on file on, or shortly after, 30/03/2024. Please ensure funds are available.

How many drivers of the vehicle were there last year - if only one, and if that was you, and if the vehicle was even used on that date (8.3.23) (which you may or may not know), I would ignore the Friday (after all it is not your job to check what day the 8th March 23 was) and simply respond with the requested information and see what happens next.

How long a ban do you think would be applied?

Answer first then reveal the answer :-)

Cloudflare! It's free for a load of stuff including their "Access" stuff so you can throw all your internal stuff behind a firewall but still access it, all of my sites are proxied through it, and the analytics are really useful too.

I thought you'd say that - can't use them because I can't use their nameservers ... but thanks anyway.

Back on topic ... I think we should encourage people here as it pepipoo is effectively dead even if it doesn't actually go offline.

Nameservers stopped responding today ...

Sparxy - thats a bit less than I am paying via Enom - who are you using?  And yes I'd suspect that picking up the domain when it expires is going to be a very very slim chance as the bots will be all over it.

There is no possible SP30!  There is no prosecution pending, the timeout has occurred and the OP has checked their DL online to confirm no penalty points have been applied.

13
Given its well past the 6 months the prosecution had to commence proceedings, and there is no indication of a fine nor points applied, I think it is safe to assume no prosecution is pending that needs to be declared.

1) Prabably
2) I believe you are using two names for the same thing.
3) depends what you do with the SJPN, if that is what you receive. Too early to tell if this is going anywhere near a court, let alone an in person trial.
4) depends on what you are charged with / found guilty of.

Sounds very much like you are panicking about this and thinking of ways to hit back - you have no options at this point other than to wait and see what you get, if anything.
