Hi,

I have a fine for exactly the same route and flashed at the same spot.
I wonder how did the OPs appeal go?
Will be nice to hear from you.

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks all

I can't get the exact text form him but in his appeal he had put something to the effect that he had parked for under 30 minutes in the box.
However he failed to realise that he was parked in the loading bay area.

Will wait for his rejection letter and revert back to you all.

Thanks

doing this for a friend and yes it transpires car was parked in the loading bay area for just over 20 minutes and no loading had taken place, the sign was visible too, so on all accounts fault lies with him I guess?

Hi,

Received this PCN for Contravention: 46 Stopped where prohibited (on a red route or clearway).
But a bit confused as I had parked in the 30 minutes free box parking. I was there for just over 20 minutes.
How to appeal this or am I missing something very obvious?

Thanks

J

so took a drive on the same path.
only thing is that on Joining London Road from Stanley Rd, there is a sign of Controlled Zone "Mon - Sat, 9am - 5pm"
and on entrance to Lennard Rd there is a sign of Pedestrian Zone, Mon - Fri 8.00 - 9.30 am, 2 - 4 pm (except permit holders).

I guess the sign on exiting Stanley Rd looses me some ground?

My journey started from Stanley Road (where my office is). I took a right from Stanley rd to London Road.

does this give me a fighting chance?

Yes I am the sole director of the company.

I am the sole company director.
Log book does not have my personal name.
Route I took is London Road, then turned left into Oakfield road, then left onto Lennard Road, where I got the ticket.

Thank you for all info so far.
Company is the registered keeper (only Ltd company name on the V5)
It is not a lease\hire, it is purchased outright by the company.

Yes did the speed awareness course last year, so no getting away from it.
My only reason to prolong was to take it until after my next insurance renewal which is at the end of May.
But from the replies here it transpires that the court fee\cost will probably be more than what I would pay in increased premium so will throw in the towel and accept 3 point and £100 fine.
Thank you for all your help guys.
This forum is wonderful.

btw is there any way to receive automatic email to my post when someone replies?
and also if there could be a location for me to see all my topics or a search option by just the user id (without needing to put a string in search section) will be great.

Thanks once again.

Great,
Thanks for this wonderful nugget.
Shall I mention these cases on my letter to Croydon council?

btw my company is the registered keeper (just my company name on V5)

Thanks

Attaching google image which has not been updated since Aug 2022. Showing Road Closed.
Which at some point was removed and the road became a restrictive road.
Does this help in any way?

Moan and groan and may be just may be prior to hearing they might drop (very unlikely I know).
My insurance renewal is in 2 months time so may be I can avoid getting penalty point prior to this by taking court route.
How much are the likely court fees?

Hi all,

Allegedly I was doing 60 mph on a 50 mph on M11 Motorway, near Luxborough Lane Road Bridge, Chigwell, Essex.
3 points plus £100 fine.

Any way to avoid the penalty point? Get a court hearing and Reason with judge?
What are the likely court charges?

Thanks

As the subject says - allegedly parked on a Mon-Fri restricted road on a bank holiday Monday.
Pictures plus PCN attached.

Its a company car so only Registration will be the Ltd company.  does that help?

I wonder what is there reason to no consider bank holiday Monday as a non weekend day. clearly the zig zag lines are for protection of school people plus help with getting dropped\picked off so should a bank holiday not be treated like any other weekend day?

any ground for appeal?

Thanks
