The Flame Pit / Mistakes in TRO
« on: October 10, 2024, 03:42:56 pm »
I came across a report from Reading Council where the TROs themselves had faults. I have seen cp8759 getting TROs, and analysing PCNs against it, but how does someone validate TROs itself?

Do they go through audit, or does someone flag it up the totem pole after a certain time?

Are you able to view the below guide video? In the meantime, please pass on the license plate, council name, PCN number, and mention the dates of the receipt of the docs.

I didn't see any posts for the same topic. If it exists, please merge.

This website now allows to view license and vehicle details under the same page, after you have linked the relevant info. Additionally, reminders for tax can now be sent digitally, instead of post. My MOT reminder is already digital at this time.

Click on 'View all license details' to see full DL details.

Click on 'View all vehicle details' to see full vehicle details. The detailed page also has the option to see 'Show V5C Registration Certificate information'

Please update the back side of the PCN, and confirm if this is the GSV location

Can you also reach out to the solicitor whom you enagaged while you bought the flat?

As you paid for their service, and the contract was legally validated by them, they may be able to give some guidance.

You can keep the full lease in a google drive, and share the link here. Just hide the address, and your name. Make sure its' set to public, else it wont work for us.

I didn't have to write to parking explicitly. FOI did the legwork as you had asked. Their reply is as below.

Thank you for your email below.

You have asked for the cancellation reason for Penalty Charge Notice(PCN) SB51394193.

The PCN was cancelled due to faded/ defected lines on the highway.

Kind regards,

Thank you for your email below.

On checking, I have established that a Subject Access Request in relation to your PCN is not required.

If you contact parking@slough.gov.uk directly as the registered vehicle owner, they will be able to respond to the question raised.

Apologies, I know this is a closed thread, but I somehow missed adding the reply from SBC. Nothing informative though. Please delete this if un-necessary.

I notified DVLA and my insurance provider immediately after the first 3 posts.

I am happy to say DVLA has replied to continue driving As-Is, and to re-notify them if there are any changes in my condition.

Thank you Everyone for the guidance.

I have been diagnosed with Sleep Apnea, and NHS has supplied documents to notify DVLA and Insurance. Unfortunately, the documents doesn't contain anything relevant when to notify them. I have also been given a CPAP machine, which I am using every night.

Additionally, I was told to make sure that when I notify DVLA, I have enough CPAP data recorded with NHS so they can say that I am using the treatment (CPAP machine) as per recommendation, and therefore I am fit to drive normally. This is required once every 3 years.

I intend to call my hospital tomorrow to understand this duration/timeline, but if anyone here has any suggestions or feedback on this, I will gladly take it.

BTW, the machine is a life changer. My snoring has stopped, wife is very happy, and I do not feel tired/exhausted anymore.

Thanks
