Hello all,

PCN: https://imgpile.com/p/YKD89Bs
GSV is 5 years old in the area and shows completely different restriction times.

My mum has received this in the post. She’s completely bang to rights on the offence even if it is only 5 mins.

I’ve had a brief look for any procedural issues on the PCN, however, can’t find any. Wondering if another set of eyes can see something before she gives this money hungry council any money.

TIA

As one saga comes to an end another starts.

I have had a PCN from Met Parking Services for overstaying, however, they’ve linked two separate stays.

The driver went to this particular McDonald’s after a lengthy visit to the hospital up the road. The driver then had work the same morning and went through the drive thru to get a coffee having not had much sleep.

I have called the McDonald’s and they didn’t pick up so I went in and spoke to a manager who refused to do anything.

I have a dashcam in my car, so can easily prove this is their error. What is the best course of action. I’m thinking of appealing as RK and providing the dashcam. Should I also complain to DVLA and ICO regarding the misuse of my data? How would I go about that?

TIA

The Flame Pit / Civil Enforcement Officer Conduct
« on: June 26, 2025, 04:21:38 pm »
Hello people,

I recently got a PCN from my local council while parked outside my house - Usually I'm at work at the times of enforcement and when I'm not, my partner will put a vistor permit. On the occasion, my partner and I were in A&E for a migraine that had lasted 7 days at that point and we were there overnight, leading me to forget to put the permit on having gone to bed about an hour before the times of enforcemnt started. I explained all this to the council and they outright rejeceted the appeal - not even a we understand your cirmcumstances and are sorry that you've been through this. A very shitty worded you've broke the rules, pay up.

This lead me to pay particular attention to the conduct of the councils CEOs over the past few months. Recently, I have seen an ANPR enabled car with an extened camera parked in a loading bay on many occasion, which as a delivery driver, is a pistake.  I assume it is to catch people in a the yellow box ahead of the loading bay.

I'm not quite sure how can they justify issuing fines while themself being in contravention. I have made a FOI to the council asking if they allow this sort of behaviour and I'm hoping that they do not. My next course of action would be to take photographs of the loading bay signage, the car parked in contravention and the CEO's identifying number and complain to the company and my local MP.

Does anyone have any further ideas of how to escalate this or any knowlegde of if CEO's are allowed to behave in such a way?

Hello,

I have, today (06.05.25), recived a PCN dated 02.05.2 from parkingeye regarding the driver of the vehicle which I am the registered keeper of, being parked without a permit.

The driver did this a further two times. If there is no way to get out of the fine, I would be greatly appriciative of any advice in regards to potentially having to pay only one fine should a further two fines come in. (A total of £300 or £180 if paid in 14 days).

As it is somewhere the driver goes frequently, I will get them to get some photos of the car park enterance and potentially get dashcam footage that, hopefully, show the signs are not clear enough on entry to the car park.

The driver is Autistic and was stressed about this being their first few days starting at a new place of employment and being late due to not being able to find parking if this could be used as a mitigating factor

TIA
