For this post I will refer to the driver of the vehicle as X.
X parked in Huyton Starbucks owned by EG garages on the 20/5/2026, ordered a drink and stayed in Starbucks for 2 hours to do work. No employee informed X of the parking charges, and that license plates had to be inputted at the front desk, even though the shop and car park was empty, and X spoke to the staff. X returned and the keeper of the vehicle received a £100 parkingeye fine on the 2/6/2026. This fine was on the outskirts of Liverpool/widnes in an empty car park in a new EG service station for overstaying in a Starbucks.
The time limit is 1hr30, x stayed for 2h17.
X also did the same at a later date yet has not yet received a PCN.
What is the probability that X will get this overturned, or at least one of the fines overturned if I get another one, or will X have to pay both fines?
