Private parking tickets / Staying beyond the grace period for car damage/samaritan reasons - Wembley London red car park
« on: May 22, 2026, 01:17:04 am »
Hi all, I would appreciate some advice on this matter, please?
Registered Keeper 1 entered the Red car park, Royal Route in Wembley. After finishing at Wembley, Registered Keeper 1 paid for the parking ticket, which was 4 hours. Registered Keeper 1 came with Registered Keeper 2 who had their own car in the same car park and who paid for their own tickets as well. Registered Keeper 2 drove Registered Keeper 1 to their car within the car park.
However, on doing so, Registered Keeper 2 scraped their side of the car against a bollard within the car park. Registered Keeper 2 immediately parked, and both Registered Keepers exited the car to assess the damage and this led to both keepers leaving the car park at 4 hours 27 minutes.
Both Registered Keepers have been met with a Parking Charge Notice.
Are there any grounds of appeal for this mitigation for either my friend or me? ( I realise they will not bring up CCTV but I imagine the event was recorded).
Company: UK Parking Patrol Office operating in accordance with the International Parking Community's Code of Practice

Parking charge notice: https://ibb.co/27Zy889M
Thank you in advance for your help
