Thanks for providing the case examples MrChips! Its much appreciated.

Am I allowed to refer to these case numbers in my appeal or is it better not to be seen to preempt a (positive) outcome? This is my first time ever, appealing to a Tribunal, hence the question.

Hi
I have received a response from council. As mentioned by Incandescent, they have rejected my representation. I am attached a copy of the letter. I am assuming that my ground of appeal would come under 'The Contravention alleged by the Authority on the PCN did not occur', i.e., there was not failure to comply as the YBJ was non-compliant?

Is there any specific language/text that I need to add in my appeal to the London Tribunal?

Thanks for looking into this. I will appeal based on this.

I dont mind taking them to the Tribunal , if that's what it will take but just wanted to know if I have actual grounds for an appeal. Thanks again for taking the time to respond. Its very much appreciated.

Hi all,

I recently got a PCN through the post for 'Entering and stopping at a box junction when prohibited (31J).

I was driving on the Plumstead High Street and I though there would be enough space to clear the yellow box junction, given the traffic light was green further ahead (at the top of the screen in the video).

As you would see from the video, I was was not able to completely clear the 'box junction'. I was not impeding any traffic either.


Please let me know if I have a case to appeal against the PCN.

Its my first time using this website. I hope I have provided all the info but please let me know if I have missed something.
