Hi,
I have recently been working at a site in Aberdeen in which we were told to park next door at Morrisons and just tape our number plates. I had been doing so however I have received 10 (TEN) fines from ECP claiming £100 per fine. Obviously I do not wish to pay this, I have looked it up and think as long as they don’t know who was the driver it should be fine? However i’m wary that £1000 worth of fines may be worth their while chasing in court. Can someone please advise.
There is no way to pay to park, it’s a max stay 2 hours car park.
Side note - I have parked there the full month of March - Why don’t I have more fines? Have they given up?
Anyway the first fine is due by tomorrow. I did appeal one simply stating ‘nowhere to pay’ but did not reveal who was driving. Trying to plead ignorance really.
What should I do? I would pay one if i absolutely must, but i’m not paying 10.
*Today I used JustPark.co.uk to park there as they have all day parking available there for £7? Unsure if this is right, but at least I can say I was paying to park there if I receive any fines.
