You're right, definitely discriminatory to only employ young black actors.
Why aren't they giving young women or the elderly chance to mug someone?

On a more serious note, this seems like a wind up, if you are not prepared to name so we may investigate and form an informed opinion, I ain't playing.

I can assure you this is NOT a wind up (pretty weird wind up), this is still on going as like I said Iīm giving them enough rope etc, just want an opinion as to it being racist or not.

Hi
Quick question, there is a large company that deals with security issues in my neck of the woods that for years has been solely using an assortment of young black models/actors in all its social media platforms describing local crimes ie a picture of a black man breaking into houses/blackman committing knife crimes/blackman committing anti social behaviour/blackman commiting street robberies (5 videos in this case).
I contacted them about their policy of only using just one section of a multicultural society to be portrayed as the only criminals out there and politely pointed out that this is egregious behaviour that is obviously racist in nature. This ended up at manager level who replied back that their policy of only hiring young black models/actors wasnīt in fact racist and they were going to carry on with their policy.
The question is this,,,,,, do you think this policy is actually racist, thatīs all Iīm asking as I donīt want to see myself as being a touch sensitive re race relations.

 Cheers

PS not going to name the company just yet as Iīm giving them all the rope they need to hang themselves over this.

The Flame Pit / Re: Stolen engine?

Why does he imagine it might have been stolen?

I'd suggest he tells DVLA to get a new V5C, and then forgets it.

He is not sure it is but with the amount of work that has been done to it he really doesn't want to alert anyone just in case they take it off him, he is wondering if you can anonymously ask the DVLA and take it from there if it comes back as stolen, the last thing he needs is for the police to just rock up at his house and load the car onto a recovery truck lol.

Hi newbie here.
Right down to business, my friend bought a 70's ford escort a few years ago, to cut a long story short he has only just realised that the engine number doesn't match the one on the V5. The car had been restored to a high level with pictures of the engine in bits being upgraded etc so we don't really believe the engine to be a 'wrong un' as why would you do that to a nicked engine rather than a genuine one. The question now is how can he find out if it is nicked without alerting the authorities to the chance that he has in his possession stolen property, if it turns out to be stolen he has said he will be happy to clear the matter up with the insurance company that may have paid out by buying the engine off them, is this possible?

ps he has tried to locate the previous owner but they have moved on years ago with no forwarding address etc.
