Not yet, but I know it will happen soon enough. As the PEO are often around

Time has come up to renew the resident parking permits for our cars and we plan to move out in a month or so. However, there's 2 things to note

They cleverly increased the pricing after introducing the scheme last year right after everyone signed on to the permits

Also They have noted that all permits are non refundable - surely if I don't need to use it 11 months I should get refund?

Please advise as this bankrupt council thinks we are made of money

Council policy:"Please note that all permits are non-refundable or exchangeable."

I have had to appeal as I didn't get a response within the time - I clarified in my appeal re the fact that the phone line was directing me to the website and website was showing me an error

And secondly the point that I parked the day before too (not overnightt) and forgot to take off the ticket from the dashboard, hence this should not be classed as "expired ticket"

However, my appeal has been rejected and I have updated the Imgur link with the response.

Any help would be appreciated

Hello, pics have been updated to show back side of letter.

Driver decided to pay online/over the phone and hence left after parking the car and pay for parking while travelling. Only to realise that both online and over the phone would cause issues resulting in inability to pay.

Driver was unable to come back after finding out this info as was traveling

Hi could anyone help with this as not long left to appeal

Hi all,

I am writing in regards to a private parking fine that I recently got in Slough. The car park is managed by a green parking.

My situation was that the older ticket was left on display accidentally as the driver had been at the same place the day before.

Secondly on the 31st, the date of the contravention, the driver was planning to pay via the online system, However, what happened was that the Ringgo website would show me an error when trying to sign in using existing details or signing up using new details.

The driver also called the company so they could pay by the phone using the number provided on the signage within the car park. However the system for some reason was also down over the phone and the driver was not able to get through and instead redirected to website.

I've shared the letter that I got with personal information removed and screenshot evidence that the driver tried to register and call on the day to try and get the parking pay and display ticket

Here is the link to the pictures: https://imgur.com/a/e3Y0wHD

Is there any thing else I should say or do for appealing this charge?

TIA

Hi all,

A visitor received a PCN in the area where permit parking is required.

The visitor arrived around 7:00 and the permit was applied on 7:15. Therefore the time of contravention was 7:18.

On this basis, the fact that before the time of the contravention a visitor permit had been applied correctly, I felt that would be ok to cancel. however, the appeal for the PCN was rejected by the crooks. FYI - I had actually applied for 2 visitor permits as initially entered the wrong plate number but then by 7.15 made a second permit by entering the correct plate number

Now the visitor being the registered keeper will have to wait for the NTK before the representation to the council can be made to appeal the rejection. Would be grateful if anyone possibly help me on this?

Few clarifications:

The permit type for this is virtual permits - nothing needs to be displayed (see screenshot of the online permit obtained - valid from 19.15 to 22.15). This was for the VRM on the PCN, as can be clearly seen on the right side towards bottom of screenshot.

My understanding is that the required virtual permit was valid (at 19:15) BEFORE the time of the contravention - stated as 19:18 on the PCN

My mention of the incorrect permit was as a side note so that if there is any case in saying that, look I had started applying for the permit before but I had accidentally input a wrong VRM and then purchased another which was in effect by 19.15 etc

Re their reply - I provided the screenshot of the virtual permit, that I have attached to this post, when appealing the PCN. It would not be possible to provide anything else, whether it was me or any other resident in the same boat.

However, I don't know how they can say the permit didn't exist - as the screenshot, which is obtained from their own council permits website, clearly proves otherwise
