@The Slithy Stove - you think I'll only get a course, not the points/fine route?

@New Judge - My Dad was/is still RK as it was their (my parents) car, but sadly we've been busy as mum became longterm ill, we had to get a bigger car with wheelchair/zimmer etc and the other car becoming the runaround (used by me) and she recently passed, so I'm sure you'll understand I/We've been quite busy. I have LPA over my father, so I will in effect be incriminating myself

Not at all, I'm not trying to get a suggestion my dad takes the points, I clearly state he doesn't drive, he hasn't for years, he surrendered his licence as he didn't feel safe anymore behind the wheel, I mention he got the NIP as the vehicle is still registered to him for no other reason than it is fact, but thanks for your kind words.

What viable defence do I have, unsure, that's why I came here, for help, I am fully aware my father, needs to legally name the driver and I will as he's 94 and I am also his carer so I will be naming the driver myself.

my elderly father 94 (no longer driving) still has a car registered in his name, that I drive and he has had an NIP for 71 in a 60 with a photo (unclear) I was last stopped/done for speeding about 8 years ago, got a course nothing else since with squeeky clean licence - thoughts and suggestions appreciated - it was a painted dual carriageway, overtaking lane, not a proper dual carriageway.
