I'm aware of that, but is the PCN not void in that case? It should state that representations may be disregarded if received more than 28 days from date of service?
Yes, because the period for submitting reps has been truncated by 2 days, this ought to win at adjudication as it is a major error; one that has caught out other councils too, I believe.

Thank you for your responses, greatly appreciated. So do you think on account of this major error I should lead my appeal with this? What's the best way to word it?

Many thanks

Hi, any advice would be most welcome.

The alleged offence happened on a Sunday evening, 3 August, at 6.40pm in north London
I was taking my son to a gig at  the Spurs stadium, I don't know the area at all and was looking for parking. I had no idea that I had done this until I received the PCN. Looking back, there was no prior warning that you were about to enter a bus lane but seems that there are no alternative options. Naturally when you look at the evidence you can see that there were signs and I'm sure locals might be aware of this but for out of towners! It's not that you could turn left/right or use a different lane. The only option is to completely turn around. Bull lane is a long, straight road for a bus land to suddenly appear seems a little sinister. Can argue also that just before 7pm on a Sunday night on a minor/irrelevant road!

I appreciate that I might not have any grounds other than human error and question the times that they monitor this road, you see many bus lanes that have flexible hours.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

TIA
