The 19th of january, the driver entered the car park to do some shopping at Lidls, found a space, parked the car and went in the shop and left after 30 minutes roughly.
The day after, the driver came back to the same car park to do some more shopping at Lidls, found a space, parked the car, went in the shop and left again within one hour.
Its a 2h free car park. It has 2 entries/exits.
Today, 31st of January, I, the registered keeper, I received a PCN through the post.

Its a clear misunderstanding from BPA. The driver usually enters and exits by the same side but there is a chance, the 19th entered from one side and left by the other one (If that matters).

Im attaching a picture of the PCN and the google map view of the car park showing both entries/exits.

How should I contest it?

Thank you

Hi

Spent the weekend in Bedford and parked my car on a residential street where you can park with a permit or there is a machine for pay and display. This machine shows that you can pay with an app so i downloaded it, picked the code shown in the machine, confirmed it was the right street and paid for 2 hours. From 10am till 12pm.

When i got to the car i had a pcn saying that i didnt have a pay and display ticket or a parking permit. Car observed from 11.50 to 11.55.

When i paid on the app, i received an email with parking receipt:

Transaction ID: 2025611514

Location: 811208
License: J77CXA

Description: Grafton RD

Start parking: 2025/05/30 10:01AM
Stop parking: 2025/05/30 12:01PM

Cost: £2.30 including service charge

These are the pictures added as evidence on the Bedford Council website:

They actually added 2 more, total of 6, but they were only the interior of the car showing there is no ticket or permit.

Also, i should say that even though the sign says max stay 2 hours, i stayed most of the day and i would renew the ticket every 2 hours. Might be or not relevant.

I have already appealed it the same day i had it (maybe a mistake?), showing them the same receipt i just showed on here but i still didnt have any replies when it says they will sent an email within 10 days.

I only have 3 days left to pay £35 or else will be £70. Is there any point waiting for their reply given this information or is it unlikely i will successfully appeal it?

I hope ive given all the information necessary for someone to be able to help me.

Thanks in advance.
