is there no help available on this then???

I dont have a copy of my actual appeal, it was done through the Initial Parking website and they dont send a copy of what is written.
It was along the lines of the poor mobile coverage and needing to update the parking app.
I didnt mention not having cards or cash on me that day.

How would I know if there are any bylaws?

Hi eveyone,
Looking for some help on this one if you can please.

I have received the below charge notice for unpaid tariff time at the carpark of Watermouth Harbour.
I used the carpark (and paid as per the attached receipt) while on holiday this year (launching our boat), for the date noted Initial Parking have sent me the PCN Letter for Unpaid Tariff Time

Due to its coastal location the mobile phone service there isnt the best, and coupled with my Just Park app needing to be updated it took a little while for me to be able to purchase a ticket, also at the end of my time there I also over-ran by about 3 mins at the end of the day.
I didnt have cash or cards on me that day just my phone.

I have tried to appeal to Initial Parking, but they have rebuffed my appeal (also attached), I used the above points (with the exception of not having cash or cards on me that day).

Is there any chance I can avoid paying this charge for the supposed total 25 min overstay?

Thanks in advance.

Hi All,
Thanks for the help so-far.

Had my mediation call yesterday where via the mediator DCB Legal offered a reduced fee, and in return I offered £0 as advised.

The mediator fed that back to DCB and returned with a second call stating that DCB are now going to proceed with the claim, and that I should wait 2-3 weeks for the next part of the process.

I trust that this is all part of the normal song and dance.

Hi b789,

Thanks for replying.
I'm glad to hear I have done things correctly.

I will be completing the N180 form this evening.

Hi All,
Looking for some advice please.

I recieved the attached claim via the HM Courts from the snakes that are DCB Legal.
After some internet research I found myself here, and followed the good advice given to others in my situation.
(primarily this one - https://www.ftla.uk/private-parking-tickets/court-documents-received/)

I downloaded the defence documentation template and filled in accordingly (also attached), then emailed it to "claimresponses.cnbc@justice.gov.uk" and cc'd myself as advised elsewhere on this forum.
(fyi I did the Acknowledgment of service via the MoneyClaim website immediately prior to the defence email)
The court acknowledged receipt of my defence as attached.

Plenty of time lapesd and I hoped that the time had run out for DCB Legal to persue the claim but unfortunately they seem to have served notice to proceed with the claim right at the last minute (I guess this may be another one of their underhand tactics).
Attached is their response and N180.

The court have sent a letter with an N180 form for me to fill out and return by this friday (13th June)

I trust this case will follow a similar course to this forum topic - https://www.ftla.uk/private-parking-tickets/please-help-received-a-claim-form-from-court/

Note, I have just noticed that I can only upload 4 attachments per post, so a 2/3 additional posts will be needed to upload all of the bits.

Thanks in advance.
