Thanks b789! Very detailed and informative much appreciated. I will speak to the victim and see what they want to do. If it was me I will probably pay the n244 and battle it.

Yes it was, double sided.

Yes that was the only letter before the court doc.

Dear Friends,

I am reaching out for a family friend who is not computer literate. They got a PCN dated 23/05/25, reason for issue: Parked on a Roadway where Prohibited. They were dropping a customer off and was there between 0:47:39 - 0:49:08.
The location is Prince Of Wales Drive, SW8 4AA. They have appealed the initial parking charge stating that they were dropping customer off, however as usual that was refused. They received few letters from dcbl with the usual spat, however without a Claim form they have received a Judgement for Claimant (in default] double sided letter from Northampton dated 04/11/25 demanding £175.21 for the claimants debt and interest and £107 for costs.

I will try and scan all letters tomorrow at work but in the meantime any advice would be most appreciated.

Thanks for your prompt response as always. Checked on TH portal, it says they sent the NtK on 10/09/25. Never received it as I was waiting for it tbh.

After my informal challenge being refused I was not sent NTO as per their letter. However, today I received Charge certificate! Please help with some guidance.

Thank you! They do have some heartless individuals as managers in these departments! I guess it’s all target driven and mostly revenue. I will once again need your kind assistance to draft a formal response soon.

The PCN date is 8 July so it's gone past the 14 day discount window anyway - they will almost certainly reoffer it if they reject though.
