Hmm. The title has the council, the code, and the road name.
Admitted we failed to comply with the restriction and the story is:
- New(ish) restriction that we are unaware of
- Travelling to a destination in the restricted area, not trying to bypass a congested road.
- Travelling on a quiet day.
- Provided a link to the scheme.

I'm not sure what more I could add.

Just received a PCN for travelling though a restricted vehicle access point.
This is a relatively new restriction 30/09/2024.
We live fairly local and have travelled via this road many times but did not realise this restriction was in place.
The spirit of this restriction is to avoid people using the road as an alternative to lower Richmond road which can get congested, due to the closure of Hammersmith Bridge
We were using it to go to Mortlake Hall for a birthday party. This was on a Sunday afternoon and there was no traffic on Lower Richmond Road.

Is it even worth making an appeal?

Was turning off the A4 Great West Road onto Rivercourt Road towards Hammersmith.
Seems that this road is fairly recently been designated as a LTN.
Have done this turn in the past lots of times so did not notice any signs on the A4.
As I made the turn, I noticed the signs and stopped. The A4 is busy so it was difficult to correct the mistake.
The front of my car was just over the line and this is the image and video they used to issue a PCN.

Can I use this as an argument that they had no evidence to show I drove through Rivercourt Road?
