Thank you! Sorry I meant invoice. I was going to make an appeal and cite these reasons:

I am the registered keeper but was not driving at the time.

The signs are the entrance are not clear,  the driver shopped at the store and paid. It's not their usual store and they were unaware of the parking restrictions or ANPR.

The invoice doesn't include the full address of the store - is this the 'relevant land' rule? "This leads to a failure of PoFA 9(2)(a)."

I should request a Popla code?

Looking for some advice please. PCN received from PE, 14 days is up tomorrow so not sure if it's too late! I have been away. If I appeal within 28 days, does the fine get frozen at current rate?

I saw Lidl have changed their mission and vision statements as i read someone successfully appealed by referencing the bit about customer satisfaction!


The car was parked in LIDL carpark whilst the driver went in paid cash, didn't keep receipt and didn't know about the ANPR machines. Then went to meet a friend further afield and decided to leave car as it was a nice day, not knowing or seeing that there was a limit on the parking time in that carpark, and they were late for their appointment so didn’t see or read any signage in the car park.

I've attached the documentation. I wouldn't say the signs are clear at the entrance.
