So best course of acfion is just to pay up and be more careful when typing in?

Is there any precedent? I am sure I am not the first who has mistyped or selected the wrong field.

What are my cancels - I am trying to weight the time effort versus the cost. I can pull out good design guideliness for web systems but all requires time and research.

Thanks

Thanks - anyone else. Do I have ground to win in a formal appeal / Tribunal or should I just cough up 80 GBP for an honest mistake.

Hi,

Lambeth rejected my informal appeal (attached) what chances do I have with a formal appeal? Obviously its double jeopardy (£80 to £160) if I lose.

Thank you

Dear Madam/Sir,

On May 16, 2025 at approximately 1615 I had a visitor with registration RJ66DVY park infront of my property at 68 Bavent Road. Immediately upon arrival I logged into my Lambeth parking portal and applied oone of my visitor vouchers and paid for my visitors parking.

However, as it later transpired I mistyped the registration, entering it into the wrong field and the portal automatically selected previous visitor registrations AV07ZBU. My visitor was subsequently issued a PCN.

I have been a longtime resident of Bavent Road, this is the first time this has happened thus I kindly ask for you to cancel the PCN as evidenced I tried to pay and this is honest human error.

Submitted is the proof of payment as well as screenshot of active session that shows both registrations.

I appreciate your support and understanding.

Thank you

Totally different reg to the PCN

I entered the reg into the wrong field and it copied one of the previous visitors regs. You can see that in the e-mail. I did not clock this. It is an honest mistake.

Do I stand a chance?

Thanks

Hi,

I had a visitor come and park in front of my residence. I activated one of my visitor vouchers, but it seems like I entered the registration was entered in the wrong field. In the confirmation email you can see that it was addressed to the correct registration, however in the registration is the wrong address.

I tried to contact Lambeth but this was after 5pm so they were closed. I also tried to e-mail them.

The visitor got a PCN.

What is the best course of action, is there a draft informal appeal letter? What chances would I have on appeal?

Thank you

Why am I getting charged multi-permit residential in Lambeth?

We have one car, I had a monthly rolling subscription but have cancelled it as my bank would always decline and I would need to go back in portal and pay. Friday I got email that my last monthly permit expired. I went to renew yesterday and for any permit, it is showing multi-permit surchange.

Wrote to Lambeth parking services but they are closed for the weekend.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks all for your help.  Lambeth cancelled the penalty notice.

Thanks. I see I can make representation online. Happy to send informal representation plus paragraph above as well as photos taken the night off showing no signage at 65 and 75. Anything to add before I submit?
Post your proposed text for a review, if you want.

I reside in Lambeth and have a resident permit with permission to park on Bavent Road.

On the day in question, I arrived at my house on Bavent Road, parked and went to my house at 68 Bavent Road. Neither of the parking bay signs near my car, which are located at 65 or 75, had any temporary suspension sign attached to them.  A motorist is entitled to take the parking conditions on the bay sign nearest to his car on the side where parked as valid.

In view of the failure of the council adequately to sign the suspension, I request that the PCN be cancelled.

The council in their response to my informal challenge have totally ignored the points made in that challenge, thus committing a procedural impropriety of failure to consider, one of their statutory duties within the relevant regulations.
