« on: November 18, 2024, 05:10:59 pm »I've modified my post as maybe the no entry signs are not that well posted and it is a no entry contravention.There is a no left sign except buses and taxis on the traffic light, but I had passed that and wasn't looking at the beforehand as I was going straight.

Turning right was the option.You're right, but it was dark and very busy, I was on the left lane so couldn't go right but it was very quick thinking to the first free space out of there, I hadn't seen or noticed any signs. I'm going to appeal it based on the contradictory evidence, it will probably be rejected but hey ho.
I'm not sure there'll be a way to challenge this.

Hi guys,
I received a PCN for turning into the bus terminal at Euston, basically I was supposed to be going straight, then realised the cars ahead of me stopped so I would have been stuck on the yellow box junction so I quickly turned left as I had moved forward already, then I realised where I had turned into, obviously didn't see the no lefts allowed on the traffic lights as I was going straight anyway, it was only due to quick thinking I turned in without realising what road it was.
I need to appeal or pay the reduced rate by tomorrow so hoping to seek some advice. Upon looking at the evidence online, the video footage shows a vehicle making a traffic contravention, but fails to show the registration due to poor quality footage. There is a separate still photo, which is pitch black with a registration plate illuminated but doesn't show any contravention occurring. In the photo specifically it also looks like two tail lights illuminated beside the number plate but when looking at the video the vehicle does not have any tail lights beside the number plate. Obviously I know it was me but the video evidence shows A vehicle turning in but no registration mark, and the image, which shows no evidence of anything other than of a registration plate with conflicting looking details on the image.
Do I have any grounds to appeal with this?

Would it come after the 50% discount period? What is the actual abuse of statutory process which I could potentially appeal on?
1. Please follow my advice in this post.
2. Redbridge have a habit of sending off Charge Certificates so I would recommend making your formal representations close to but before the deadline. I have represented two members recently and they did the same, one of which was immediately won on that abuse of the statutory process.
3. Show us the agreement as there may be flaws.

Hi guys,
is there any chance of appeal on this?
- The contravention was on 30/06/2024, the later is dated 02/09/2024
- On the website, there is only 2 images as below, no cctv footage. The image does not prove how long, if any duration, I was actually stopped on the box junction, nor does it demonstrate the circumstances as to what may have resulted me being there.
- The actual image of the vehicle doesn't show the vehicle registration
- The image that does show the registration, doesn't show any offence whatsoever, i.e. everything around it is black and nothing to show that registration is actually committing any offence, could be a totally different vehicle all together. Doesn't prove its part of this same offence
This is a long term rental vehicle, so it may have gone to the company who would have denounced responsibility, hence why it may have taken extra time to come to me with a delayed issue date. I haven't had any communication from them so not sure if it could have directly come to me anyway, even if not, is there grounds of appeal based on the contravention date and current issue date and the points raised above, or anything else for that matter?
