Not sure of odds, but clearly the council won't give way, so you'd end up at the adjudicators, however the penalty remains the same and there are no additional costs. It all depends on whether you are prepared to risk the extra money. Your appeal at the adjudicators would need to emphasise that only the first two two letters of the location could not be read and the CEO would be well familiar of the area he patrols.
Thank you for the heads up. Yes, if it's going to be a gamble, i will just pay the fine as do not have energy to go through that stress.
Sorry for double posting, - my first post didn't seem to get much response, I've had a couple of answers on both now which has helped me make a decision.
