Sorry I assumed you don’t need to display a badge by law but you can use the bay if you have a disability. I have special needs son don’t understand things well. So do I have no grounds to fight the case if it and when it goes to court? I didn’t respond back to the other matters that came also I was told by the gym staff it would’ve canceled. Due to my autism  was unable to do it on time so now it has escalated to dcb legal and there is no option to appeal it just says I have to pay. I was only there for 10mins. I’ve sent emails to the gym and dcb legal they are saying they can’t do anything about it now. What are my options now please. Thank you for any help in advance. Thank you for the response too.

Hello I recived a parking g ticket while picking up my son from virgin gym as I had parked in a disabled bay for 10 mins juts before closing to pick up my adhd son and I have autism I didn’t have a badge but parked in a disabled bay. Due to my autism I was unable to deal with the letter on time and it had now escalated to dcb legal. I did go in at the first stage to the gym and was told by front desk staff they would sort it out but didn’t. I want to dispute it as by law I shouldn’t need to display a blue badge on private car parks and I was only there for 10 mins. What is the chances I will win this case if I go to court and don’t pay the fine.
