Assuming you haven't contacted them at all, I'd continue to ignore. There is no keeper liability in Scotland, yet.
Title: PCN after paying but automated machine incorrectly billed

Hi,

Looking for advice here;
 - Scotland, 2 pcns from parking eye, many letters from dcbl and now starting to receive dcb legal letters threatening to instruct a local scottish solicitor against us.
 - car park in question is fully automated and i paid both times, still have receipts and my car registration is correct on both.

i think the issue is the machine didnt charge enough for the parking (again fully automated something i have no control of)

it is free for up to 1 hour
£1 for 1-2 hours
£2 for 2-3 hours etc

i know i parked for over 2 hours each time so cost should have been £2 but the automated machine has charged me £1 on both receipts.

probably a scam by them to generate fake parking tickets but none the less should i now respond saying i have the receipts given they may instruct a local solicitor?

i havent responded to them so far.

should i continue to not engage?

Cheers
