Title: Re: Letter Before Action From Civil Enforcement - First Correspondence

I wonder if there's any scope for chasing a claim in respect of a GDPR failure. Is the "going rate" about £500-£750?

Seems obvious now I've seen it written down. Thank you. I've found office@ce-service.co.uk and Legal3@ce-service.co.uk as email addresses, I'll send a copy to each.

I've calmed down a bit now. Thank you for helping again.

You can discard those forms.

Given the dates this is a speculative roll of the dice by the firm in question - they're probably aiming for a default judgement.

Just reply to the LoC with something along the lines of what you have told us, namely;

To whom it may concern,

I totally refute the claim that any money is owed.

I have never owned a car with that VRM.

I was nowhere near the suggested location on the date stated.

I am sorry that I cannot help you further with this matter.

Best wishes,

They're imagebam links, that've been suggested by this forum as an image hosting website. Sorry, I used imagebam not imgbb as it kept giving me an error.

The first one is the important one, then it goes on to have all the reply forms, and press summaries, just like in https://www.ftla.uk/private-parking-tickets/pcn-from-'civil-enforcement-ltd'-4166/msg102601/#msg102601 this thread.

I’m sorry, but all I get when I click on your links are adverts and women without many clothes on.
Which is the important one?

Good evening. I have read the other thread today from badrav, and believe the advice is largely the same, i.e. respond with what's set out in this https://www.ftla.uk/private-parking-tickets/pcn-from-'civil-enforcement-ltd'-4166/msg102643/#msg102643 message. This is actually the first correspondence I've had about this, in addition I was not the driver of the vehicle at the time, and have never owned nor driven any vehicle with the Reg plate in the letter. I was also provably not in London on that date. I have a common name so I'm not surprised something like this has happened, but I want to sort it.

Am I correct in thinking I need to copy-paste the email suggested by b789?

Thank you for any advice.
