On occasion I park close to the station when I need to travel, normally I park further back where there is space aplenty but parked here as it was closer
I always have a look to make sure the car is not inconveniencing anyone but have to admit I was unaware that (1) the slopey bit is off limits and 2 that it's not just where your tyre is but where the outermost part of the car is
Live and learn I guess

It's a trivial part of the front of your car and there's a good chance it could be seen as such at the tribunal.
The residents probably called the council - why did you park there? Do you know them?
What is the Google Maps location?

Parked next to the sloping part is okay, but photo 2 shows that you are adjacent to the lowered section.
It's worth submitting a representation as they may slip up with their response.

Hi all
Never had a parking fine for years and then they come along in 2's like buses
I think this one I have no case but any help would be appreciated, I thought you were allowed to park in front of the lowering part of the kerb but got a ticket
