Title: Re: Claim Form DCB Legal

Do you have any images of this shoddy signage?

My husband isn't too good at sorting stuff out - whereas I can't let things drop. Hence the 'we' :-)
Which is admirable, but I hope you've noted my main point, which is that everything must be done in his name. We've seen some cases go wrong where helpful family members have appealed using their own details and messed cases up. The defence must be in his name, he'll need to take the mediation phone call (very quick, nothing to be nervous of), and although there's a very good chance this will be discontinued, if it were to go to a hearing, he'd be expected to attend.

I'm guessing these links will go to the images of the PCN and Claim letter. I hope so.

It was Garstang last July. Having googled it, it seems like loads of people got caught. Of those who appealed the vast majority were successful due to insufficient signage (it has since been updated). Also the single time on the notice to keeper?

We would really appreciate any help and guidance with this issue. Do we complete the acknowledgement of service and defence part of the form?
A small clarification from the outset. Whilst you might help your husband, from a legal perspective there is no "we". If the claim form is addressed to your husband, then he alone is the one being sued, and all forms etc. must be completed in his name.

Can you post up the original PCN and the Claim document redacting personal details only - leave dates visible.

Also, what is the location?

My husband has received a claim form from a company called DCB Legal. They are saying his car was parked in a bay outside a closed-down shop that was previously free, apparently the parking company is called i-park services Ltd that are now charging people to park there. He went back and had a look for signage and there is a small sign high up on a wall, about 7 feet up with tiny writing, saying vehicles must have an e-permit - not obvious at all. No ticket machines or whatever supplies an e-permit.

The parking occurred last July and my husband ignored the letters that arrived. The claim form has only arrived today, it says it's from Civil National Business Centre and they are asking for £160. Then a bit further on they are saying it is £251.52 with costs etc.

We would really appreciate any help and guidance with this issue. Do we complete the acknowledgement of service and defence part of the form?
