Let us check the PCN for errors before you pay up.

Thank you, this is what I thought. lesson learned (hopefully)

This is a typical trap we see so often, where there is a pedestrian crossing just after the box. Your husband followed a vehicle into the box that then stopped for the crossing, leaving him stuck inside the box. One has to be very careful following vehicles closely in London as the video shows. I cannot think of a robust appeal argument to take to London Tribunals, sorry.

does anyone have any advice regarding this at all?
should he just pay the fine?
thanks

Can't access that link. Does the video show the car at point of entry? Screenshot the website page as if to make a representation as there are wrong grounds.

thank you, I have attached the PCN above

If you want us to check for technicalities, we'll need to see the PCN. Check out the sticky thread for details of how to upload this and other info it's helpful to include.
NB when uploading the PCN include all pages and only redact your name and address.

good morning,
my husband stupidly got a PCN for entering and stopping in box junction. I have watched the online video and seems traffic flowing and someone steps out in front of car in front at traffic lights, making car in front stop, the lights then also change so he is stuck partially in the box. I know what their answer will be, he should not have pulled forward until there was clear space other side of the box for him. so, looking for any technicalities to get him out of it ::) so...the photo on the printed pcn is not his vehicle but further evidence online shows his vehicle including the video. also, the contravention occurred 02/12/25 and he received the pcn dated 27/01/26 but it is a lease vehicle. any grounds to appeal?
I know this is a long shot, and probably best just paying through reduced fine but thought id ask.
