It's called a 'double dip'.

Basically the faulty camera system records the two events as one continuous event.

It’s not the BPA, it’s Parking Eye.
You can basically tell them to get lost, maybe politely, but first of all you should ask LIDL to sort it out.
If you search the forum you will find that LIDL customer services often cancel these notices on behalf of genuine customers.

The 19th of january, the driver entered the car park to do some shopping at Lidls, found a space, parked the car and went in the shop and left after 30 minutes roughly.
The day after, the driver came back to the same car park to do some more shopping at Lidls, found a space, parked the car, went in the shop and left again within one hour.
Its a 2h free car park. It has 2 entries/exits.
Today, 31st of January, I, the registered keeper, I received a PCN through the post.

Its a clear misunderstanding from BPA. The driver usually enters and exits by the same side but there is a chance, the 19th entered from one side and left by the other one (If that matters).

Im attaching a picture of the PCN and the google map view of the car park showing both entries/exits.

How should I contest it?

Thank you
