Hi all, PCN received :( for overstay on Christmas shopping trip....

Upon entering the car park, the driver found a space, parked up, and went about their shopping spree.
As it was 2 days before Christmas the Retail park was very busy and it took a while to find a space.
After shopping the driver and associates decided to visit Nandos, also on the Retail park. Here there was a console to extend the parking by 1 hour but it was not pointed out and missed.
When they left the car park they had exceeded the maximum parking period by 68 minutes.
On 6th Jan, I, the registered keeper, received a PCN through the post.
We have already complained to the manager at Nandos who said he had tried to get cancellations before and got nowhere with G24.
We have also tried M&S via Facebook and who I believe is the landowner, Frasers Group, by email to CEO. Heard nothing back as of yet.

Can this be overturned if no retailer/landowner steps up?
