Councils are taking a harder line with these location codes despite not being disadvantaged. Fewer are now letting people off a first time mistake.

Let's see the PCN, your challenge and their rejection.
Title: Waltham Forest PCN - paid for parking for opposite end of the road, appeal rejected

First Post, hopefully I don't mess this up.

Parked using paybyphone location 79256 - Station road chingford e4. That was the marking on the opposite of the road and I assumed it would be the same for the entire area.
Appeal came through, said I entered the wrong code. The board next to my car stated location was 79251.
Appeal rejected.

My question is - I paid for parking for the same road - literally opposite it. Same amount was paid. Location is chingford e4 on the app too. Do I have grounds to appeal? Any advice would be great.
