H&F has a policy of exempting private hire in this zone I think so you may be in luck with a polite challenge providing evidence.

Hello,
I have been issued this PCN for entering a restricted zone only for Permit holders, buses and taxis accidentally. I couldn't recall going there until I checked the location, I am private hire (not TFL), and I picked up my passenger from Bowerdean Street onto the restricted street Studdridge street, Fulham, which I can prove.
The restriction starts from the junction of Bowerdean street which I am turning right out of, however looking at the Google streetview images, the signage is facing oncoming traffic from the restriction on Studdridge street, it is perpendicular to traffic on Studdridge street.
However I was coming out of Bowerdean Street following Google Maps directions, and I genuinely did not see the signage on a rainy night thew were not clear, they are facing 90 degrees from the direction I am coming from, You can see from the streetview image there isn't a sign perpendicular to my view, and there NO 'No right turn sign with restrictions' facing me.

You can see in the streetview image where I would have been turning right where the Royal mail van is, and the signs are to my right faccing opposite.
Do I have a case for appeal, and will it be for Poor signage? Does anybody know what section of the highway code it will say about signage must be clear?
