Oh dear, how many times do we see the words "following satnav". These devices are never up-to-date and one must always look out for signs. Did she not notice the 'Flying Motorbike' signs ?

Thanks @Incandescent I have spoken to the Mrs and she said she was following the sat nav which didn't have the restiction marked - it was a route she doesn't normally take but was directed down the road due to traffic.  apparently she approached the junction straight (from the left) down St Andrews from Blackhorse lane

There isn't any video of the allege contravention on the WF website. Can you please tell us if it was a left or a right turn into the restricted street.

Any reason at all for the wrong turn, on what one would think is so regular as to be an "autopilot" journey ?

Here is a view of the road junction concerned. The signs are covered over, which indicates either that the restriction had yet to be implemented, (needed TRO), or it was not term time, so the council have put in signs with cover plates that can be opened to reveal the restriction :-

The PCN photo shows your car driving into the restriction with the school sign. There is not advance signage on the "free" approaches, but if one drives  head-on past a restriction sign, it is difficult to convince an adjudicator one didn't see the sign.

Good evening,

I hope you are well

My wife has just received the attached PCN when she took a wrong turn on the way home from work - is there any scope for an appeal?  Any assistance much appreciated, thanks
