Yes please

Happy to do that. What's the process ?
Do I donate, show evidence of the donation and then email you the details of the PCN?
Many thanks
-
Sure, if a donation of £40 is made to the North London Hospice.
I ask for nothing for myself.

Thank you for the advise.
Would you be up for taking this case on my behalf?
Many Thanks

I haven't had many Event Day PCNs recently, I used to get them every week (during the season) and this is because residents got to know, so now mostly visitors get caught and they aren't even going to the match.
I would expect the council to fail to prove something at the Appeal stage so forget about the discount if you want to fight as the council are most unlikely to cancel & I win half of my cases by going to Appeal (I win 85% overall, I have fought 2,000+ pcn in the last 7 years).
I would select the ground 'There was no contravention' (or similar wording) and then write that 'signs within the road did not notify me that the day in question was an Event Day, whatever that is, nor where that information was to be found. Please cancel the PCN.'
That is all. Don't veer off into other areas, keep it short and to the point, you only put yourself in it if you write more than that.
If you were loading/unloading or boarding/alighting a passneger who needed assistance that could be an exmeption so do come back if that was actually the case.

The sign reads - "Permit Holders only [ED] on event days 1-6pm"
I understood this sign to mean: "Only residents can park here on Event days between 1-6pm".
Well, no, it means what it says, namely only permit holders with code ED on their permit can park as per the notice.

https://maps.app.goo.gl/UV1mU9t2n7PsAEmm6 I came from Sunny Gardens Rd, into Sunningfields crescent. This is where I entered this road and I parked at the top of this road on the right.

This is the Saracens event day zone. There was a match on 30 November.
There must be zone entry points with the date - what was your route to parking there?
Here's a zone entry sign nearby:

Hello,
I parked on a road (Sunningfields Crescent, NW4) next to a park on a Sunday (30/11/25) and received a PCN at 2:06pm.
The sign reads - "Permit Holders only [ED] on event days 1-6pm"
I understood this sign to mean: "Only residents can park here on Event days between 1-6pm".
Can someone explain what this sign means (see images below) and should I pay this fine or challenge it?
Thanks!
