Has the driver been identified? Unless you, the Hirer, have blabbed to the operator who was driving, inadvertently or otherwise, then you have nothing to worry about. They have no idea who the driver is unless you told them. If they don't know the identity ion the driver, they cannot hold you liable as the Hirer.

It is no use just telling us the detail. you have to show us the notices, letters etc. you have received. We only need to see the original PCNs, not any reminders. We do not need to see any debt recovery letters. WE need to see the Letter of Claim (LoC) and we also need top know exactly what you put in any appeals, not a summary or paraphrasing.

Title: Moorside Legal Letter of Claim
Post by: cabbie12 on December 05, 2025, 03:35:28 am
I have received a Letter Before Claim from Moorside Legal regarding 2 x PCNs from Birmingham airport.

I have been nominated by the keeper as the hirer of the vehicle at the time.

I have responded with the email advised on similar recent posts and I have had a response from Moorside with copies of the PCNs as well as signage from the car park. The signage they have attached to their email is from the wrong car park at Birmingham airport (the main drop off car park) whereas my PCNs are from a different off site car park. Should I respond to their email and highlight their errors or wait and use this evidence at a later date if a claim is progressed with?
