Unfortunately my Mum has been taken ill, and I don't have the head space to deal with this.
That in itself would have been some pretty compelling mitigation, which TfL would almost certainly fail to consider.

Thank you both for engaging on this post.

Even if you think you are bang to rights, if encourage you to get the video from TFL as you can sometimes be surprised.

Is that obtained by completing a "Subject Access Request Form: Traffic monitoring/enforcement CCTV"?
No, you just call 0343 222 3333 and ask.

No, you ring up their customer service number and ask them to post it to you (which they will do, via DVD).  It typically takes around a week to arrive so do it without delay.  They usually agree to put the discount on hold for a few days to allow time for it to reach you, but make sure they confirm tihs on the phone (occasionally we hear of a call centre worker who isn't familiar with this policy and denies they do this, so do stand your ground if so).

Once you have it, upload to youtube or similar and post a link here.  The photos in the PCN don't look promising, but it's the video which counts.

'Homerton Fire Station is a "hardy annual" on here'

I noticed that it seemed to appear quite frequently. Looking at the other posts, they seem to have had some reason for mitigation.

Really I was wondering whether there was some kind known issue with TFL PCNs with a boilerplate response

None of your links seem to work.

Homerton Fire Station is a "hardy annual" on here, and must make a lot of money for Transport for London, (assuming it is they).

My only reason for posting is in case there is an error with the TFL PCN.

I believe that I am bang-to-rights on the contravention. I was driving in a new part of town, following the van in front in stop/start traffic. It was only after I had been stationary for a while that I noticed that: I was in a yellow box junction, and that I was outside a fire station.

I don't think I have any mitigations to the alleged offence, and older threads on Pepipoo about this YBJ don't look like they are valid any more.

So I'm here to ask whether there are any issues with TFL PCN paperwork? If not I'll eat my fine like a loyal citizen.

Thank you for any time you give to my question.
