If Morrisons don't get it cancelled then just do a forum search for any other ECP PCN and you will see that if you follow the advice, you won't be paying a penny to ECP. Just ignore all the useless debt recovery letters. Debt collectors are powerless to do anything except to try and intimidate the low-hanging fruit on the gullible tree into paying out of ignorance and fear.
Let us know how you get on with Morrisons and if no luck, come back when you receive a Letter of Claim (LoC) from DCB Legal (not DCBL).

Whilst it's potentially a bit late in the process, Morrisons are one of the better companies for intervening on behalf of their customers, and even have a dedicated form for doing so - https://www.morrisons.com/help/form/contact-us/car-park/car-parking-charges/i-have-a-car-parking-charge (https://www.morrisons.com/help/form/contact-us/car-park/car-parking-charges/i-have-a-car-parking-charge)
Submit any such enquiry as the keeper, not revealing who was driving.

Hey guys, I'm a newbie here and in the world of private parking fines.
I've checked a few forums and some advice on here and I'm ina sticky situation. I parked in a Morrisons last month and used the shop, I don't have a receipt but it appears on my bank statement from that month.
I received both a parking charge notice issued 19/09/25 as well as a DCBL notice dated 21/11/25 today on 27/11/25.
Most advice is to appeal with the original company first but that is no longer an option for me as their appeals process directs me to DCBL.
Please see the image links below for the two letters I've received.
Any advice would be very much appreciated, I absolutely cannot afford the £170 DCBL are requesting.
