The link is restricted, you need to make it open access in Google drive.

This is a council PCN so I have moved this post to the Civil penalty charge notices (Councils, TFL and so on) (https://www.ftla.uk/civil-penalty-charge-notices-(councils-tfl-and-so-on)/) forum.

To help the users there provide you with the best advice, please read the following thread carefully and provide as much of the information it requests as you are able to: READ THIS FIRST - **BEFORE POSTING YOUR CASE!**, This section is for council, TFL, Dart/Mersey/Tyne etc. cases (https://www.ftla.uk/civil-penalty-charge-notices-(councils-tfl-and-so-on)/read-this-first-before-posting-your-case!-this-section-is-for-council-tfl-dartme/)

the reason I entered the bus lane was that there was a stationary car in front of me, which I had assumed was broken down.
I will leave it to the experts to comment on your case, but at face value, this does not seem a particularly convincing argument, given that the vehicle in front is still moving when the video starts, and is clearly stopping due to a queue of traffic ahead.

I received a PCN for a bus lane contravention a while ago (date of contravention 26/10/2025).

I appealed because the reason I entered the bus lane was that there was a stationary car in front of me, which I had assumed was broken down. I was turning left anyway in about 50m, and while it would be theoretically possible, since I was turning left a short distance later, it would be unsafe to then move across 2 lanes to do so.

They rejected my appeal.

What should I do?

This is the video (I'm the blue car)
