In which case, simply ignore it - there is no keeper liability currently in Scotland.
Ok, thanks for confirming, didn't find a lot on the processes after the appeal window closes.

I am in scotland
Received a letter from a debt recovery company about a parking ticket from August yesterday. Until I received that I was unaware of the charge until then. The driver did purchase parking but may have gone to the wrong machine as there is a machine on both sides of the car park, one of which may be for the street outside.
However, since it is well past the appeal window I'm not really sure what to do, I was going to send a written appeal to Horizon anyway but am now worried that may make it easier for them to take me to court. they have not presented any proof of who was driving.
Did call the Debt collection company to clarify it was a real thing but otherwise have not had any contact with Horizon.
The only contact I have had is linked below
