Thanks for reply.

I was parked on Wilman Grove under the post at the end in front of the focus on GSV

If you spin the camera round the permit the customer gave me was for parking beyond the silver gate near London fields. Is a lack of signs between zones a factor?

Can you post up a GSV view, please, as it allows us to see the context of your problem.  Lack of signature is not an issue that would cancel the PCN.

Bumping this as I think I killed the thread initially yesterday when trying to upload an attachment and it wouldn’t load on my phone or computer.

Any prospect of success?

Hi

Long time reader of pepipoo and followed the instructions on there to migrate to the new website.

Last week I was doing a job for a customer and had arranged parking before starting as per usual, the customer assured me they had a permit for their residents parking.

To cut a long story short, the permit she gave me only allowed me to park on the estate (behind a locked gate) and I had parked on the road next to it.

The customer has given me £30 towards the ticket but obviously I would prefer us not having to pay as it was a genuine error on my behalf after being assured by the customer I could park there. I’m annoyed at myself because normally I’m on the ball with regards to parking rules etc and should have been more firm with the customer to open the gate as I half knew it sounded dodgy.

After looking at the PCN, is the lack of signature a get out? And on a broader point, if there’s no boundary signalling the end of the estate parking  and a controlled zone beginning, is that a mistake on their part?

Happy to pay if I’m bang to rights of course but happy to see what the experts say.

Have attached the PCN I came back to on my truck.

Location is Wilman Grove and the permit I had on display was for London Fields West Side

Cheers!
