To add to your woes if you drive abroad, your licence being revoked in the UK also revokes your right to drive abroad.

Until such time as the OP returns with some meaningful information, helpful speculation will be considered "noise"

In June 2024 I received a notice informing me I was going to receive 6 points (speeding), the first camera flashed me and not even 50m after I got flashed again.
Just to be completely sure were these two within the same journey? Detected speeding twice only 50m apart but still treated as two offences. Presumably "m" is metres, not miles.

As above, what you have told us is insufficient to give proper advice. So I'll take a few guesses.

First of all it is my guess that the notice you received in June 2024 “…informing me I was going to receive 6 points (speeding)” was nothing of the sort. It is my guess that it was a “Notice of Intended Prosecution” together with a “request for driver’s details”. I’ll then guess that you failed to respond to that request and it is that failure, rather than speeding (whether one or two offences) which saw the six points imposed on your record and which led to your licence revocation.

You can easily check this by looking at your driving record online to see what offence(s) you have been convicted of. If I m correct you will see an endorsement code of MS90.

Since points can only be imposed by  court (unless you agree to the police doing so, which you obviously didn’t) the matter must have been heard in court and you would have been sent papers informing you of that, and of the outcome.

As you were unaware of those proceedings you can perform a “Statutory Declaration” to have the conviction nullified and the points removed from your record. Whether it would be worth your while doing so is arguable. If you do that the charge will be raised again and I believe, from your very brief description coupled with my guesses, that you have no realistic chance of successfully defending that charge. In that case your time and money would be better spent making arrangements to take your test again.

Of course if I am wrong, please tell us what actually happened and we can go from there.

You need to start by giving much more detail...

What notices exactly did you receive, and when ? What responses to these notices did you make, how and when ?

What was the speed alleged and the limit ?

Location ( cameras are not 50m apart) ?

The court didn't revoke your licence - DVLA did that automatically when you were awarded 6 points. You have to either get penalty that reduced or set aside.

As it stands you have no valid licence - there is no simple fix to that. You may have an option to appeal to a higher court against the sentence ( if it doesn't fall within the sentencing guidelines - very unlikely), or to ask the magistrates court to rehear the case, but without much more info you aren't going to get good advice.

Realistically, being outside the UK isn't going to help.

Hello,

I really need help/advice for the following:

In June 2024 I received a notice informing me I was going to receive 6 points (speeding), the first camera flashed me and not even 50m after I got flashed again.

Due to the nature of my job I am out of country for 6-8 months a year and had no idea, until recently when I found out my license has now been revoked and have received no notification that it was proceeding to court.

At the time it was under 2 years and therefore was treated under the New Drivers Act however again, due to my job was unaware this was even happening.

I’ve payed the fines today, however i’m wondering if there’s absolutely anything I can do to reverse this as court has already been sat and i’m currently abroad and NEED to drive.
